Poor Lazarus.

I created this work for the exhibition "Human Dignity," held during the patron saint festivities in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn't have time to prepare anything new, so I used the most emotional part of Fyodor Bronnikov's "Parable of Lazarus" (1886).

Poor Lazarus, with such a clear identity, clinging to the Father, clothes you with such dignity, authority and courage that nothing and no one will make you tremble, nor will you fear the last enemy so feared: death.
